Why I love The Simpsons

[Homer, Bart and Lisa are in the car, Homer is driving]

Bart: But I can't play quarterback! I don't even know how!

Homer: Son, you can do anything you want. I have total faith in you.

Bart: Since when?

Homer: Since your mother yelled at me. Now, how about that hug.
[Homer completely dismisses his driving and hugs Bart.]

Bart: Dad!! The car!

Lisa: I got it.

The only thing comparable is Family Guy.

oooooh.. now that is a show... I wonder how my dinner is ever complete now that I dont get the dose of Simpsons every night at 10 :)... Most people who dont like the Simpsons are ones who cant appreciate satirical humor.. dont you think?

+ Marge, when I join an underground cult I expect a little support from my family.

+ Operator! Give me the number for 911!

+ Son, when you participate in sporting events, it's not whether you win or lose: it's how drunk you get.

+ To alcohol, the cause of, and solution to, all of life's problems.

+ Trying is the first step towards failure.
