The US state of Virginia passed a bill [sounds like passed a stone doesnt it?] yesterday, outlawing low-riding pants. If you display your underpants (in public) in an offensive manner, you stand to lose a neat 50 bucks.
I am going to refrain from commenting any more on this.
dunno about VA,but the PMC will surely make a lot of money if they enforce that rule only on FC Road and Main Street
Posted by: punedude at February 11, 2005 06:00 AMThe rule is 'Be penalised if underpants are shown in a lewd or indecent manner' ....C'mon girls, don't break the law!! Bend it....wear low rise clothes.....but no underpants' :)
Posted by: PseudoFreud at February 11, 2005 02:20 PMCultural policing is becoming aggressive everywhere in the world, overall.
On the other hand, 'culture' itself is also becoming more and more aggresive/provocative/offensive depending on your viewpoint.
