I yearn -
peace of mind, paratha, butter chicken and malai kofta, to be with my school friends again, to play with my dog, a Honda Civic coupe .. stick shift, to sit and chat with my parents and sister, a banana Snapple, a business of my own, to go for a long walk .. alone, kulfi, to live in the same city as most of my friends, better handwriting, a pet falcon, tender coconut ice-cream in Pune, a kick-ass battle tank, a place of my own, a nice river near where I'll live where I can go kayaking, a chipotle burrito bol with extra guacomole, a good nights sleep - every night, a blazing desktop with a sleek and tiny cpu cabinet, modaks, to know where I am headed, more will-power, a strawberry cheescake blizzard from Dairy Queen.
Thats it for now.
You can easily get the following -:
Parantha (at Devon)
Butter Chicken and Malai Kofta (at the same place)
School Friends (well Ajit the 'talented one' was just with you 12 hrs ago)
A banana snapple (anywhere dude)
A long walk (damn.. u said alone or I wud've said go with dublee ;))
A chipotle burrito bol (again easy to get.. drive a 2 blocks)
A strawberry cheesecake blizzard (at your nearest dq)
peace of mind.... thats upto you dude.. wish I knew how to achieve that.. it'd be so much better then...

Posted by: Prashant at September 20, 2004 10:35 AMHey Anya,
Wassup. Thanks for coming by my blog. I'm back from Boston. You got a pretty neat blog out here. Parathas... hmmm.. that makes me hungry... Man I'm off to the kitchen.. do get back whenever you have time.
Among all, pet falcon caught my eye!! Wish if it can ever be true :)
Man you have such simple tastes......
Posted by: Gautam at September 21, 2004 10:48 AMPF: the pet falcon has been a childhood wish of mine .. i always wanted one .. a falcon which would come with me to school . flying, while i ride my bicycle, wait outside the windows of my class .. feeding on cretin and then back home!
Posted by: anya at September 21, 2004 11:10 AMPR: peace of mind is the key. It governs everything else. Strong will power .. hmm .. I succumb to temptations sometimes and so tend to deviate from what I had decided .. but if the goal is bright enough and the focus is there .. that too won't be a problem.
Posted by: anya at September 21, 2004 07:11 PMi still dream about it...when I step out of my school, its waiting for me up there to come out! :)
Posted by: pseudofreud at September 21, 2004 08:29 PMHey i need this template dude. MT 2.65 default styles are not available on the MT site. Cud u lemme know ur e-mail id or something so tat we can correspond ?
Posted by: Anil at September 22, 2004 09:10 AMDude, if peace of mind was so easy to achieve, there wouldnt be so many people who are depressed, anxious, worried, running around like there is no tommorow... I dont think its as easy as we may think it is... Its about reaching a state within you where nothing that happens around you will not affect you adversely... If that state was so easy to reach, I think the whole freaking world would be there and i'm sure we'd be living in utopia... But we dont... its just an illusion...
Posted by: Prashant at September 22, 2004 11:33 AMwho said its easy?
Posted by: anya at September 22, 2004 11:35 AMmmmm...that Chipotle burrito sure hit the spot :D...Say, why are we being so conservative with our list today? ;)
Posted by: Spaceman at September 22, 2004 12:59 PMKayaking, Honda Civic Coupe (Hybrid drive?), Business, Place, Chalupa Supreme(had a couple today), Good nights sleep (it's been a while) Desktop with projector instead of monitor, more will-power, Ben and Jerry's ice cream shake, playing good chess , playing a musical instrument.
Posted by: Chinmay at September 22, 2004 04:51 PMnice list...am almost tempted to make mine...on second thoughts, it would go on forever.
