Baygon advertisement. Its been a while since a print ad made me smile. Smart people these. Starting my own ad agency was one of the tens (or maybe hundreds) of things I dreamt of doing. *sigh*

Sure made me laugh too and when I showed it to my friends they wanted to analyse it for price, positioning, place and one more shitty 'p' in marketing 'phew'.Look what I am going through Goddamnit and I am loving it.....
Sonuvabitch!!!!!!!!
My blog ain't dead.Put me on ur roll and code mine to gimme links,I have decide to start yet again
I used to work in an agency and let me tell you, we had to beg clients to release ads like these! Most clients would've wanted to show fat cockroaches with their legs in the air :-) So why the 'sigh'?
Posted by: Leela at July 22, 2004 01:06 AMExcellent creativity! Do you know the agency behind it? I guess such wits are from Indian branches of Lintas or O&M...
Yup it was one of my dreams too...! :) Think about this...watch incidents in your daily life while travelling or going on a routine job and apply these things to creating an ad...you will get the most amazing ideas!!
exactly my point .. you can really unleash your creativity here. Leela begs to differ though .. valid point -- i will say .. getting good ideas and not being able to excersice them is worse than not getting them at all!! ha ha!
Posted by: anya at July 22, 2004 12:16 PMWell Leela, hadn't read your comment before posting mine, but people evolve and I guess ideas for creativity evolve too. Ask a kid on the street 20 years back and he wouldn't know who Spiderman was, until the cartoon show came up on TV. Also people have to overcome the idea of their hero being shown dead in order to prove the seller's point...After a lot of bashing of Spidy1 and Spidy-2, it is easy for any junta to digest this creativity and take it in a satiric-sportingly manner! I guess thats the reason artists ahead of their age/time are usually considered crazy by people for potraying their intellectual creativity!
