I fail to understand this mob mentality. It happens disturbingly frequently in India. People rush to get ahead and not notice that they are trampling children underneath? How can you do that? Not just one person, but thousands of them .. stepping on, ignoring the muffled cries .. its sickening. I am not even up to the usual polit-bashing for the politicians who were distributing free saris just before the elections.
U bet Aniruddha.....
I really felt very bad....The police commisioner later told one of the news channels that they had not taken police permission for the same......to do so there are certain norms to be satisfied....I know theywill not be toio strict about that....but at least something....lets pray for the families of those no more....

Posted by: resh at April 13, 2004 09:52 PMThe human is fast becoming an animal of greed, more so than he was... dangle a free bit of meat and the strongest will trample over the weak to get to it... and the politicians know it and exploit it...sad indeed
